Time....

I just love this sentiment - In such a rush and bustle life we all live; time just seems to fly on by - so when you have some breathing space it's nice to notice the things that bring you joy... at this time for me it is my family - they are so precious and I'm so glad they are in my life.  I made this card for challenge #244 at Shopping Our Stash - use clocks.  Inked up the raised surface on an embossing folder in Distress Ink Stormy Sky, then inked the raised surface of the card in DI Antique Linen - to create the background. Thanks for taking a peek

SOS #244 - Cuckoo For You - Use Clocks

EDITED 1 April 2016
Today I am posting to Darnells bloghop....April Fool's Day Boo Boo Hop  - post one of your oopsie-boopsies - where we're to share a card with a mistake, or something funny that happened in the making - can you see my mistake ... the clocks in the embossed background - they're back to front.  I inked one side of the embossing folder with green and I didn't like how bright it was so I quickly inked the other side with blue and the result is that its all about face. I liked the effect and didn't realise till later the oopsie.   Thanks for taking a peek

  6. I don't think anyone would have noticed your boo boo if you hadn't pointed it out. Your embossed panel still makes a beautiful backdrop for that wonderful sentiment.

  7. I thought your post was the April Fool's joke as I could see nothing wrong until you pointed it out and I'm sure nobody else will either! Still it's a good job we can laugh at ourselves isn't it? Still a great design though! Have a lovely weekend! Hazel xx

  10. I must admit you had me going there for a minute until I saw the fine print. I'm cocking my head left and right and I had all the hamsters in front of the monitor trying to work out the boo boo and none of us saw it!! Well done, Robyn! That is subtle was hilarious and just the sort of thing I would do!! Thank you so much for being a good sport and playing in my first BFCBB Hop! Enjoy the weekend!! Hugs, Darnell

  11. I would have definitely done that myself, Robyn! And, wouldn't we all like to go backward in time at some point? ;-)

  13. Well, if this gorgeous card is the result of a 'boo-boo' then carry on with the 'mistakes', I say! So very pretty! A fabulous 'oopsie' to share in this incredibly fun hop!

  19. A beautiful card and I wouldn't have noticed the backwards clocks if you hadn't said - they are obviously meant to convey the subliminal message "time must run backwards for you as you look younger every year"
