Love and Best Wishes

Here in Australia too, Mothers' Day is Sunday 14th May..... so our mum's (91 and 86) cards are in the post last week.  I love this stylish lady in  a hat stamp and thought it very appropriate.  I watercoloured it with Brushos - much diluted to get the soft colours and used some pink Liquid  Pearls on her jewelry. I stamped the sentiment and to finish used mauve card to frame my image and a cream card to bring out the colours.  I am posting to Watercooler Wednesday WWC118 challenge - theme 'Mum'and Just Us Girls #392 - Word Week - Mother.  Thanks for taking a peek

  3. Oh, Robyn, what a stunning card! Love the elegant lady of your image and the super job you did in watercolouring her. The diluted colours are spot on perfect! And adding the touch of pink Liquid Pearls to her jewellery, brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing this beauty for our "Mom" theme Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
