Week 29
Week 28
Nothing like camping out under the stars... so peaceful and quiet. I created this background with Distress Oxides and the stamped on trees, and silver embossed the stars.
Week 27
I had this background in my stash and thought it would be just right for this quote... was also inspired by the photo to add a sunny flower and bee.
Week 26
I do enjoy a cuppa tea and a good book - a little bit of escape time - a page background with some stamped images and of course a BookMark

Week 18
Watch our young grand daughters this week chasing the fragile soap bubbles with all those shimmering rainbow colours prompted my take on this inspirational quote. Tinted my gesso with blue ink for my background, used masks and Distress Inks for my bubbles. Hand drew my little person and used a combination of hand writing and stamps for the quote... a little added glitter glue for sparkle.
Week 17
Week 16
A starry night sky created with Distress Oxides and white gel pen. Then I hand drew my silhouette man in black marker and nearly messed the whole thing up trying to add a tiny bit of colour behind him - got one water blob near his hand. I'm really pleased and feel at peace looking at it, wishing to be in a quiet spot watching the sky myself.
Week 15
Week 14
This inspirational quote from Elizabeth Gilbert (oops I left her off) is just so true and can be seen in many ways - in the physical and spiritual, artistic and just plain accepting you as you are - Unique. A Distress Oxide background with added paisleys and rings, a stamped sentiment and a 'self' I cut together with scraps of my experiments.

Week 11
Week 10
I just loved this photograph when I saw it...sunrise/sunsets are a favourite, so with these lovely colours and the image to inspire me I used Distress Oxides to create my background and then stamped on the words.
Week 9
How simple and yet sophisticated is the simple Dandelion... one puff of wind and away float the seeds - a childhood delight. A background panel with Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls mist.
This background panel is from the dim dark ages, I think it's done with acrylic paint and a dry brush. I stamped, coloured my diary with distress oxides and fussy cut it out. Then I drew and coloured my paint pots and brush and cut them out too. To display my 'painted' quote I decided to use a 'page from my diary'. I'm liking the bright colours and am quite happy to have found the diary in my stamp stash.
Week 7
A blue wash Distress Ink background from my stash - I added some for ocean colours at the bottom for depth and stamped on my waves...added some white gel pen for surf and stamped on some seagulls. Stamped and water coloured my sailor and cut him out and also his co-ordinating sentiment that I thought went well with the CMP theme this week. To finish I wrote the quote around the edge in gel pen and added a die cut scroll to my sailor.
Week 6
I love to walk the beach and pick up shells - so intrigued by their various shape and colours and pearly insides.... this inspired by artwork for this weeks quote. A small panel made with metallic markers on gloss card, two stamped and gold embossed shells softly painted with Distress Oxides.
Week 5
Week 4
Distress Inks background on leather grain cardstock, black silhouette is a stamped image coloured with black marker
Week 3
Distress Oxide background, stamped images and then water coloured with DOX. stamped sentiment, rest hand written
Week 2
The purple background is very old, and remember how I made it but did add pink Distress Oxide smooches around the edge. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark Ink and white and blue chalk applied to bring out the lettering.
